What Is the BEFA Haven Impact Circle?

The BEFA Haven Impact Circle is a powerful network of changemakers each contributing $1,500 to build 450 smart, sustainable homes for homeless working women and families in Illinois.

Your contribution is a recoverable grant, returned with a 10% gain — meaning you'll receive $1,650 back in 24 months.

What We’re Building

  • 450 Smart Homes powered by a wind-solar hybrid energy system

  • The Haven Center: Childcare, therapy, job training, and financial literacy

  • A 5-Acre Geothermal Greenhouse to grow food and sustain the community

How It Works – The Financial Model

  • You give $1,500 as a Recoverable Grant

  • BEFA uses the funds to build homes and infrastructure

  • Revenue from home leasing, sales, and services fuels repayment

  • In 24 months, you receive $1,650 back
